Electrolysis overview: Electrolysis is a technique that uses electrical beam to target a vulnerable area in each hair follicle and destroys the follicle permanently.
Electrolysis - Pros:Unlike any type of laser hair removal device, Electrolysis is the only technique that can work effectively on all type of skins and hair types, including white hair, red hair, blond hair, and dark skin.
Effective as a "clean up" of sparse hair that regrew in the months following a laser hair removal treatment.
Electrolysis - Cons: As the technique targets one hair follicle at a time, treatment of large body area or treatment of dense hair areas, would take long.
Expected results: Permanent removal of hair.
Pretreatment: Hair must not be plucked or waxed for 4 weeks prior to treatment. Hair may be shaved and clipped close to the skin level until the evening before the treatment. Bleaching of hair is permitted.
Electrolysis - Post treatment: None
Time to desired results: Results are immediate. However, in dense hair area, multiple treatment might be needed as some hair follicle can be missed during the treatement.
Duration of desired effects: A targeted follicle will be destroyed permanently. However, at any point of time, there is dorman hair that was not visible during the treatment. This dormant hair will start the hair growing cycle after the treatment complete, and new hair will show up over time. "Touch up" session might be needed to remove this hair.
Contraindications: None
Downtime: None

How is electrolysis priced? Is the fee per area or per hour for example?
We price by time: 15 minutes are $25 and 30 minutes $50.
Is this still the current price ? I’m interested in getting my upper lip done.
Yes, $25 for 15 minutes and $50 for 30 minutes is our pricing for electrolysis treatment.
